WWDC 2012 is fast approaching, and rumors began to emerge regarding the content of the presentations to be made by Apple. BGR claims that Apple is expected to present a new interface which the company will use in future iTV, device that should be released by the end of this year. The interface would be implemented in Apple TV 3rd generation, released at the same time with the new iPad 3 tablet in March this year.
The interesting part of this TV is a new “control out” API, which will allow third-party manufacturers to develop accessories with which we will have control over the TV and any connected components. This API would be compatible with the Apple remote and iOS app as well, allowing us to control the Apple TV.
